Assessing sustainable development in E-7 countries: technology innovation, and energy consumption drivers of green growth and environment

A study analyzed the relationship between energy consumption, financial development, and technology innovation in E-7 countries from 1995 to 2022. The results confirmed that carbon dioxide emissions, green economic growth, and ecological footprint have a positive and strong long-term correlation. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) progress report 2020, particularly objective 71, emphasizes energy as a critical component of attaining sustainable development.
